London Vet Specialists – London has a new veterinary referral centre

Pooches, moggies, pets everywhere (well, in London zones 1-6) rejoice. Tucked away in the leafy streets of Belsize Park is state of the art London Vet Specialists. It is London’s newest veterinary referral clinic and it has one aim: to raise the service standard bar of veterinary referral centres.

LVS is the brainchild of internationally renowned vet Dr. Brendan Robinson. Brendan has invested in people and in technology. His reputation has helped him recruit leading specialists from as far away as New York. The facilities at LVS include CT scanning and ultrasound diagnostics.

London Vet Specialists appointed Soul to launch the service and sign-up referring veterinary practices.

Vets use referral centres because they don’t have the equipment or expertise to diagnose and treat their client’s pet’s problem. Using a referral centre expands the vet’s knowledge and experience. Through talking to vets Soul discovered that it’s not uncommon for vets to be kept out of the communication loop, with referral centres often reporting directly to clients, not the vets. Given that some cases can be serious, this is a concern for many vets.

What makes for a good referral is the quality, transparency and speed of communication between the referral centre and the referring vet.

The work Soul created to launch LVS includes a premium DM and an animated email, with an embedded video, encouraging vets not to “be left in the dark on referrals”.

The campaign highlights that London Vet Specialists is a multi-disciplinary veterinary referral centre, with a difference. LVS work closely with vets, keeping them in the loop at all times via a unique online referral portal. It allows the vet to see up-to-minute information on each referred case. Vets never have to chase to find out what’s going on. And LVS’s specialists are there to discuss the pet’s situation with the referring vet and the pet’s owner.

Who would have thought that in the heart of Belsize Park there’s a quite revolution going on?
