Soul nominated for Best Breakthrough Agency of the Year in MAA Best Awards

Cheil has work shortlisted for categories including Best Integrated, Best Campaign Doing Differently and Best Advertising. There are 34 categories in the 25th anniversary of the awards.

Iris Worldwide follows Cheil with nine nominations overall, Arc has been shortlisted seven times, and Elvis and Haygarth Group have six nominations.

Cheil is also in the running for Agency of the Year along with Arc, Manifest London, Haygarth Group, Elvis and We Are Social.

BBD Perfect Storm, Phantom Studio, The Hub, Founded, Path Worldwide and Soul are up for Best Breakthrough Agency of the Year.

The Samsung “the NX Rover” by Cheil is the most shortlisted campaign with six nominations.

Other popular campaigns which were shortlisted four times are: Durex “#TurnOffToTurnOn” by Elvis; Gillette “Movember” by Haygarth Group and Bombay Sapphire “imagination distilled” by Gravity Road.

The winners will be announced on 5 March at The Old Brewery in London.

Simon Hathaway, the chairman of the MAA and the president and global head of retail experience at Cheil, said: “The MAA is for those agencies that don’t fit the traditional, those agencies that are not confined by media or discipline, it is for those agencies that do different and the Best Awards are their showcase – inspirational work that is doing different.”
